When we start an assignment, the first thing we do is to get to know you and your business.

What is their role, how are they measured, how do they think we are doing, and at times, why were we engaged to work with them?

The third thing we do is look at the data:

What does the P&L and balance sheet look like?

What are the trends and reasons?
